Role overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's infrastructure, automation processes, and deployment pipelines. As a DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between development and operations, driving efficiency and reliability across our systems.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and enhance our cloud infrastructure on Hetzner, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate closely with development teams, particularly those working with Ruby, to understand their requirements and provide effective DevOps solutions.
• Utilize your expertise in Kubernetes to design, implement, and maintain container orchestration for our applications.
• Administer and optimize our PostgreSQL databases to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Implement automated deployment pipelines using tools like GitLab CI/CD.
• Set up and maintain monitoring systems such as Zabbix to proactively identify and address performance issues.
• Continuously improve the CI/CD process, infrastructure as code (IaC) practices, and overall system reliability.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of proven experience in DevOps roles, including Linux and PostgreSQL administration.
• Solid working experience with Apache Kafka and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Ruby development environments and tools.
• English proficiency - Intermediate+.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Oracle cloud, AWS.
• Understanding of monitoring tools such as Prom stack, OpenTelemetry, Zabbix.
• Experience with deploying and maintaining ELK cluster.
