Senior Data Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop, support and optimize ETL processes in a Postgres > Kafka > AWS > Snowflake environment (our current ETL stack);
• Lead the data engineering projects, from data investigation to data storage and visualisation;
• Collaborate remotely with various teams to ensure data integrity and efficiency;
• Drive innovation in data processing and analytics;

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of data engineering experience, with expertise in Python, Snowflake (or similar cloud database), Postgres or similar transactional database;
• Proficiency in designing and managing Data warehouses;
• Proficiency in designing and managing ETL processes;
• Experience in data strategy, big data analytics, or related fields;
• Proven ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.

Nice to have:

• Advanced knowledge in cloud data warehousing;
• Experience in Kafka and AWS;
• Advanced Python scripting abilities;
• Understanding of data security and privacy principles;
• Experience in Microsoft Fabric;
• Previous work in igaming/gamble;
• Important questions for assessing a candidate;
• Experience with Snowflake (confidence in Snowflake is preferred);
• Experience with Big Data (billions of rows a month experience is preferred).
